Trump Town! Possible name for new embassy row in Jerusalem!

That would be appropriate. US presidents have talked for years about moving the embassy to Jerusalem, but only Trump actually did it. Actually, had Barack Obama had his way, the area would today be in Palestinian hands. But I’m sure the Israeli Progressives, aka the Labour Party, will do their best to insure this doesn’t happen.

In the letter, which was obtained exclusively by The Jerusalem Post, Galant asked the top figures in his ministry to start working on solutions to house the workers of the embassies.

Following the letter, Roznik, Solomon-Maman and other ministry officials met this week and started working on a plan.

“There is an apparent pattern of embassies moving to Jerusalem, and we have to start getting ready now,” Gallant said. “We might have to build dozens of embassies, and we would need new land ready for that purpose. I asked my ministry to vigorously take action as fast as possible.”

Gallant suggested a couple possible names for the area where the embassies would be located. He initially called it “Embassy Town,” but then said he may decide to instead call it “Trump Town,” after US President Donald Trump, who initiated next month’s move of the US Embassy to Jerusalem.

Joy Reid over-compensates!

She hosted a guy on her show who believes that VP Mike Pence wants to put gays in concentration camps! Now, Mike Pence may not be the biggest fan of homosexuals. He may well believe that they are all headed to hell. But there’s a huge jump from that to the idea that he’d round them all up and put them in camps. Even when this country was run by declared homophobes, I don’t recall us setting up concentration camps for gays. But I guess Joy Reid is doing her best to look good to the gay community, after the publication of her own homophobic posts.

“We have a secretary of state, as was mentioned, that believes that gay people are sinners based on who they are. If Mike Pence, God bless him, ended up in the White House, sitting behind that desk in the Oval Office, he would have us all in concentration camps hoping to pray away the gay.”

With the typical lame-ass Facebook response! “’Our security systems have detected that a lot of people are posting the same content, which could mean that it’s spam,’ Facebook told users.” Yea, or that it’s an important news item!

Facebook blocked users Friday from sharing a Daily Caller story on the 300 “missing” text messages between FBI Agent Peter Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page that were turned over to Congress on Thursday night.

The Daily Caller News Foundation obtained and published the text messages early Friday morning. Sometime Friday afternoon, however, Facebook began blocking users from sharing the story with their friends, warning them that the story could be spam.

TheDCNF’s reporters attempted several times to post the story on Facebook after readers began complaining that Facebook wouldn’t allow them to share the story. Another university found to have abused due process

Worse yet, in this particular case, the university Title IX official may be held liable for assisting the lying student!

“A reasonable jury could find that Natalie Spiert,” sexual violence support coordinator and advocate for “Jane Roe” during the proceeding, “knew or should have known that Jane Roe lied or misled the disciplinary board” and did not correct the record, U.S. District Judge James Graham ruled Tuesday.

Graham denied summary judgment to Spiert (below) on the issue of whether “John Doe” was deprived due process when he was not allowed to cross-examine Roe about her motive to claim that he sexually assaulted her when she did. The judge also vacated his earlier finding that Doe had no right to offer expert testimony on Roe’s state of inebriation.

“Universities have perhaps, in their zeal to end the scourge of campus sexual assaults, turned a blind eye to the rights of accused students,” Judge Graham said in explaining the importance of cross-examination: “Put another way, the snake might be eating its own tail.”

Roe was on the verge of getting kicked out of medical school – for two consecutive years of academic failure – when she first claimed Doe raped her while she was under an alcohol-induced “blackout” 10 months earlier. Doe was on the verge of graduating from a combined MBA/MD program when he was accused.

According to Brooklyn College Prof. KC Johnson, veteran chronicler of Title IX-related litigation, this is the 89th ruling against a college in a due-process lawsuit since the Obama administration imposed new accuser-friendly rules on Title IX proceedings in 2011.

Who are those 80k Shi’a militiamen in Syria?

They are part of Iran’s effort to build a Shi’a’ bridge from Iran to the Mediterranean. They mar pose more of a threat to Assad, than to Israel. But their presence is nevertheless a danger.

But the idea of 80,000 militiamen on Israel’s border is, as al-Tamimi argues, a bit of an exaggeration.

Some of the fighters exist only on paper and others, like the Afghans, are not well armed and have been used as cannon fodder by the regime. They aren’t equipped to fight an enemy like Israel; rather they’ve been dying in the hundreds fighting Syrian rebels and ISIS. It appears the number of recruits has decreased as their home communities have become reticent to send young men to Iranian recruiters to end up dying in Syria. In the beginning religious devotion and wanting to defend holy shrines in Syria was a motivation. Those shrines are now safe and the jihadist threat that motivated the recruitment drive has been beaten back.

The lasting influence and infrastructure of the Iranian militias will be felt long into the future. Regardless of their exact numbers, they have deeply affected the region and the networks that they carved out, from far off Pakistan to the Golan, are part of Tehran’s quest for hegemony.

So how will Progressives handle this? Do you side with the oppressed victim of Western imperialism? Or do you support feminist ideals? You actually cannot do both without appearing inconsistent. The term cognitive dissonance comes to mind.

Planned Parenthood comes to Cosby’s defense! Rape only 3% of what he does!

That’s the ticket! Cosby’s crimes were only 3% of all that he accomplished during his decades long career!

While almost nobody is willing to defend Bill Cosby any longer after he was convicted of sexual assault Thursday, the former television star and comedian found an ally in abortion provider Planned Parenthood.

President Cecile Richards came forward to claim that since sexual assault is only about 3% of what Bill Cosby performed over his long and illustrious career, the egregious offenses should be overlooked.

“Look, guys, let’s keep this in perspective,” she said in a press conference held at Planned Parenthood’s New York offices. “Cosby provided many needed services, like laughter, stand-up comedy, and a solid sitcom. You can’t paint him with the broad brush of ‘sexual offender’ just because a very small percentage of his activities were horrifying and abusive.”

In order to arrive at the cited 3% figure, Planned Parenthood staticions counted every seemingly insignificant interaction with a woman Cosby had, such as walking past a woman without sexually assaulting her or exchanging a few words with a co-worker. Then, they took the number of times he sexually assaulted women and divided it by the former figure, arriving at “approximately 3%.”

“You make people laugh for years, and then you sexually assault a few percent of the people you interact with, and suddenly you’re a sexual predator? Not on our watch,” Richards said.

Qatari funding for Terrorism?

This WAPO story is getting a lot of play in the Arab press, at least the non-Qatari controlled Arab press. Under the guise of diplomatic outreach, the Qataris appear to have paid as much as $1 billion in ransom money that is going to terrorists and Iranians operatives.

Keep in mind that the Qataris are our nominal allies, but they are also under siege by the other GCC states, for a variety of reasons of which support for Iran and terrorism are but two.  Al Jazeera is headquartered in Qatar!

Qatar had entered secret talks to free 25 of its citizens from Iraqi kidnappers, yet the bargaining had turned into a kind of group shakedown, the official said, with a half-dozen militias and foreign governments jostling to squeeze cash from the wealthy Persian Gulf state.

“The Syrians, Hezbollah-Lebanon, Kata’ib Hezbollah, Iraq — all want money, and this is their chance,” Zayed bin Saeed al-Khayareen, Qatar’s ambassador to Iraq and chief negotiator in the hostage affair, wrote in the message. “All of them are thieves.”

And yet, the Qataris were willing to pay, and pay they did, confidential documents confirm.

In the April text message and in scores of other private exchanges spanning 1 1 /2 years, Qatari officials fret and grouse, but then appear to consent to payments totaling at least $275 million to free nine members of the royal family and 16 other Qatari nationals kidnapped during a hunting trip in southern Iraq, according to copies of the intercepted communications obtained by The Washington Post.

But the conversations and text messages obtained by The Post paint a more complex portrait. They show senior Qatari diplomats appearing to sign off on a series of side payments ranging from $5 to $50 million to Iranian and Iraqi officials and paramilitary leaders, with $25 million earmarked for a Kata’ib Hezbollah boss and $50 million set aside for “Qassem,” an apparent reference to Qassem Soleimani, the leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and a key participant in the hostage deal.

Two-thirds of Americans want less immigration!

The trend is becoming obvious, and not only in the US. Moods are changing. People are getting tired. And the future will bode poorly if they are continually ignored.

In a new poll by Harvard-Harris polling, about 66 percent of voters — or nearly two out of three — said they support a plan by the Trump administration to almost cut legal immigration in half by ending the process known as “chain migration,” as well as the Diversity Visa Lottery, and building a border wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.
