Why big education continues to lose public support

I understand that most teachers are Lefties and feel compelled “to resist,” but it’s also true that the public, half of which disagrees with them, pays their salaries. Losing half of your public support is a losing proposition in the long run. Basically, these teachers are getting a taxpayer-funded day of protest.
